where do blues go?

Water is 71 degrees. Do they start moving deeper or stay shallow for a while? Also has the bite been better early or late? Im new to the blue fishing and would like some info guys. Thanks in advance

As the water cools the shad will move shallower as the sun heats the water up during the day.

The past week on Lake Houston, double-digit blues have been caught early mornings in 18 FOW. I am told it has been the same for Lake Conroe for about the last 2 weeks.
