Took Mrs SPT fishing from 11 to 3 today. We covered the entire lake and checked a dozen spots. Only marked good fish at two spots one up north and one deep South. only the one down south cooperated but we managed to boat a dozen fish. Fish were suspended and very finicky. High pressure? Due to variable winds? Wind started South then West then North.

Anyhow, it was a beautiful day weather wise. We had a blast even though the catching was slow and the hunt was looong. Lol

Water temp 71 to 76 degrees. Catching depth was about 15 ft o less. Winds 0 to 6 at all directions Lol.

Some proofs from today...a healthy 15.5" rhsa hibbie stocked last year. Also 3 ten incher hybrids from TPWD not in pic.



Graphs look good over flats but wish the fish were more cooperative.



Chandlers is still busy and functional. 2.5 to 3.5ft at ramp.$ 20 is steep but I gotta fish!

We just had sandies for dinner, Gene. Lol. See the white jug near the end of my trailer? I believe that's an obstruction. Make sure to hug the driver side. Also there are two huge floater stumps on the road bed about 300 yds South of the horn. Someone tied white jugs on those.

I am glad that you found some fish. We went last week and found no fish. I also saw a big stump at the horn too.
A lot of new stumps start to show up due to low water.

Hey Don, my spousal unit goes fishing with me only a couple times a year and she out fished me again! She caught the first fish, the biggest fish and most fish. Does this ever happened with your spousal unit since you're the guru? I am pizzzed!

Oh yeah, I got invited to fish Galveston for two days next weekend! October is prime time for salt! Can't wait
