My Father in law is a guide on Roberts. He says it's been slow. I've been going to Moss in Gainesville. I went today and caught 8.

Just got back from Belton black bass where on! Doubt I'll be able to sneak back out till Monday.

Very nice fish, I have not been on this lake since it was full, I figure I will just lower my trolling motor and junk fish, hopefully I can run across something like that, congrats on the fish.

I sure hope you released that fish. It would be nice to know that Choke Canyon has at least one decent sized fish left in it.

Texoma yesterday. The stripers were on almost every rocky point. I had a few short smallies, a handfull of short spots and a three keeper largemouths. Good fun day but would have been a bad tournament day.

Went yesterday: 1/2 oz spinnerbait 6-10 fow windblown points and in deep timber (25-30 fow) thrown into the wind so that it lands just in front of a tree. Let it fall then slowly lift rod tip up slowly feeling the blades turn, reel in a bit and repeat. Most were hitting on the initial slow lift of the rod tip--sort of like slowly retrieving a spoon (caught one on that also, but it was a dink)

I noticed out at Arlington tons of fish all around the lake hanging at 20 ft. It was strange. I wonder how the one cold week we had and now hot weather has affected the thermocline and turnover.

Caught 11 on RR yesterday evening square bills in the grass, not a nibble on flukes. Caught 30 Sandies right at dark at the mouth of Jordan park.

Your timing was good then. From sunrise to around 2p there was not much to be had after a brief sunrise top water bite.

We did not get a single bite from 8:30 to 3:30 Saturday on T-Bend. With the COC blue skies, I knew it was going to -be tough. Went out after 5 and found some schooling bass. We caught 10 in 1-1/2 hours on lipless cranks.

Where have you been putting in at Moss Lake? What size boat?
