Hello everyone.
Just wanted to take a second to congratulate Matthew Scotch and publicly announce that he is OFFICIALLY our first kayak pro staffer. The whole thing is really exciting and I am incredibly proud to be involved with Matt's new adventure. He is going to have an opportunity like no other, with a very special platform that will enable him to reach out and teach people a few of his secrets.
What does this mean for you (the kayak community)?
Well, several things. Our facility here at the Grapevine Bass Pro Shops will give us the ability to teach and demo in a manner that is rarely seen in this sport. We will be conducting a series of demo days at our small pond, where Matt will have the opportunity to speak to spectators with a wireless microphone from the seat of his kayak. Of course, after that, he will be available for one on one time. That means you could spend some personal time with one of the most consistent and talented kayak anglers in Texas, while exploring, together, one of the biggest tackle selections you are ever going to see. There will also be some tank demos, where you will get to see how bass respond to various lures in real time. This whole project will be educational for the beginner as well as the advanced angler.
I plan on rolling out some dates soon, so stay tuned.
