Ok got some questions. I will be getting some new rod holders and using the floor mount with risers. Hoping to target big blues this winter.

Do I need fixed or adjustable mounts? If adjustable, do I need regular or heavy duty? 1.25" wide or the 1.5" wide holders for Pro Angler catfish rods?

A set of Bee Readys will last you a life time.
Go with the 1.5 holders.
You can tie your anchor rope off to them they are that strong.

I've heard imitation is the highest and most sincere form of flattery. If so BeeReady will be really flattered by the hitekstuff rod holders.
I've used BeeReadys for 14 years and never had a problem, they do have a lifetime guarantee.
Ask Wayne Ballard, goes by SGT BALLARD on TFF how good the replacement warranty is.

I run the original welded verson (black) on my boat. Years and years of abuse from guiding and tying everything I shouldn't to them and they are still strong. I might upgrade one day to the new stainless adjustable ones but if ain't broke, don't fix it.

I use Bee Ready's Rod holders and they are great. You can't beat their Life time Warranty. I broke my rod holder riser, not the fish and they replaced it free of charge. Even better, I didn't ask for a replacement, but I was contacted by "jackiekennedyfishingguide" and I received a brand new replacement without any questions. They say "Life time Warranty", they mean "Life time warranty"! What other company would contact you in order to send you out a replacement, with out being contacted first by you?. I'm a Bee Ready customer forever. If you are satisfied with what you are using, that's your call, if you want the best, you know the name, "Bee Ready"!

I've been looking at the Hi Teks myself for about a month or more. I will probably pull the trigger and get the Hi teks.
