USA Fishing Trails provided an Open Team Striper tournament for the Gabe Carter Memorial fund several weeks ago. Several angles asked if we would consider providing more of these type tournaments. We are willing to do this.

The first date will be December 14th out of Highport marina. Please post a response to this post or PM me if you are interested.

The USA Fishing Trails is very excited to announce the following schedule for Striper anglers on Texoma.

FishAll50,

A guide or a minor child, who is either entered or not entered in the tournament, can be in the boat without being a contestant in the team tournament. However, all other persons in the boat must be contestants who entered the tournament as one team. There can be up to 6 contestants to a team. A team can only weigh in the team's best two fish.

There can be as many anglers in the boat as the coast guard will approve for the boat used in the tournament but the guidelines must be followed as outlined above. Example: The boat may be approved for 9 people or x amount of weight. There could be 8 people in the boat, if one is the guide and one is a minor child and neither were contestants in the tournament. Only one team (up to 6 contestants) can be entered in the tournament per boat.

A team can be one to six contestants per boat. If a minor child is entered as a youth entry in the tournament, they will not be counted as one of the contestants in the team tournament. The minor's fish, must be weighed in by the minor and cannot be used as one of the team's two fish to be weighed in.

I hope I cleared up your question and did not confuse you too much with my answer. We want to encourage groups with guides to enter the tournaments but all persons on the boat must enter as one team and there cannot be more than 6 contestants per team.

See You at the lake,

USAFT staff
