I was thinking of trying it myself. I have never been on the lake before and have no idea where to start

It's really tough out there right, some of the smaller ones are starting to bite. I believe there's gonna be a club tournament out there this weekend also, good luck.

Living in Lewisville, Ive always wanted to fish grapevine, but never have. Ive been sailing there before in 40 mph winds! The sail ended up ripping and we ran out of gas, had to call the fire dept. roflmao
But being out there, I noticed there are some nice structures and rocks along the bank in quite a few spots. Thinking of trying there one day!

I have not been in a while but assume a square bill is the deal, maybe spinnerbait around tires and boat slips maybe swimbait. Just figure out what rock the shad like right now and should find bass. Take a look at major league fishing specifically the challenge where dean Rojas won on grapevine, he wrecked him basically sitting on one spot.

Its not a bad lake if you can figure it out. There's fish there, just pretty pressured.

Haven't been there is quite some time. Likely to have the best chance in the marinas. Check out the Honey Hole episode on Grapevine. There's only one ramp open (Dove) that I know of since the lake is 12 foot low.

I think there was a 3 lake challenge. Grapevine, Lewisville, and Roberts. It's been too long since I saw it to remember the details.

I would go to the dam find the blubbers and throw spoons near them you will catch everything that swims.
