If anyone is in need for a partner, I will make the trip. It's a pretty long drive for me, so I don't want to pull the boat. I do not know Lake Palestine very well, just fished the bridge at the g2g, but I can catch some fish, if they are down there!

I read your rules .So its gonna be a live fish weigh in .How can we haul fish to the store in the live wells when you have to drain you boats now???Since the law has change my new boat aint never had water in it.Heck it may not even work.Ha Darrell

TP&W allows trailering to a weigh in site with live fish as long as you drain the boat at the weigh in site. You will need a piece of paper stating the lake, date, weigh in location and time of the tournament. This allowance was made due to so many tournaments on Texas lakes.

If you use minnows, keep the receipt for the minnows with you to show where they were purchased. This covers the prohibition of moving bait from one lake to another.

Come on guys live fish REALLY?? Some of us that plan to participate don't tournament fish and don't want to have to spend extra money to buy any necessary equipment to do so...besides many of us prefer to toss caught crappie in a cooler of ice...Just asking can we keep the added stress/cost of tourney trail fishing out of this thing? PLEASE...

That wind was something else yesterday on palestine. Hard for my little aluminum boat to stay on top of brush. Always learning though. Managed a few crappie too, but they were few and far between. First gar I've ever caught on palestine.
