Does anyone know of any good spots for bank fishing for catfish on either Belton Lake or Stillhouse Hollow Lake? I've tried my luck out at Arrowhead Point at Belton Lake a few times night fishing and had no luck. Just moved here a few months ago and still trying to learn new places to fish.

stillhows is not known for its cat fishing, Belora around the cow house creek area on Belton and the post ponds are suppose to be fairly good I have not fished them since about 2004. Belton is a hard lake even though it is closer to me since i live in cove i drive the extra to go to Waco. I live in cove pm me and i know of a creek in barker nights that holds some good fish you will have to walk in the water a bit to get to the spots but i have caught quite a few out of there over the years.

I lived in Moffat (right on belton lake years ago)and we would fish out by the long bridge going to Gatesville. Also after you go over the long bridge, if you take your next right, it will take you out to a part of the lake. We did good out there also. Also try some chum, and Chemdawg also makes some stink bait, so you may try that.

I've fished the pier at blora, it's hit or miss. The "slab" at blora has produced some good sized blues and flat heads. Cow house Creek has also produced good fish. That's all for belton, but with the lake level being so low and turning over, it's hit or miss. Still house, the only place I've had any luck is an 1/8 mile hike off of the entrance road going in to dana peak point. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
