Most of the flooding was in Borden County and around Gail, Texas in West Texas, but did not spread throughout the Region Certainly used to be some outstanding crappie fishing there, but the surviving crappie and other game fish are minimal from the long term drought. http://www.bigcountryhomepage.com/story/...UzkmLEX4gwQwf2QFloods can happen from unexpected events, the effects of a hurricane from Mexico of all things. I seen it has come up 20' in 2 days. I'm hoping next weekend to go try it out. Fish were hard to locate and catch before the flood. Might be even harder now. Catfish might be up and around the Colorado and that diversion channel they used to fill it. Other than that might be a bust.

Congrats to the West TX folks. Sure could use some of that here in CENTEX to fill up Travis and Buchannan. All of our heavy rains seem to be headed to the gulf.
Keep on fishing.

I'll post the results. If it is a bust I won't mind. I spent a many days and nights there w my grandfather. Just the memories of being able to get on the lake again will be good enough!!
