First time out in almost 2 months. We only fished for about 2 1/2 hours and two piles. The very first pile in 15 FOW gave up 31 Crappie and 1 bass (left the Crappie biting on that pile). It started getting a bit warm so we decided to head over to the bridge but stopped off at another pile in 12 FOW just to see if they were there, and they were. Caught 4 in about 10 minutes on that pile. Loaded back up and went to see if they were on the pylons. Only managed to fish 2 pylons with a couple hits on each when we met a man and his daughter(?) from Stephenville. After helping him locate a few brush piles (His first time on lake Waco) the wife and I headed in.
Can't tell you how many cranks of the bottom or how deep to fish because we caught them from 5' to 15'. They hit on the fall and on the rise. They hit when ya jiggled and when ya kept it still. Some nailed it while others just mouthed it and some gave ya the familiar thump.
Today was a good day to be out on the water.
Caught the fish on Handmade 1/8 oz feathered jigs. blue/fire tiger/white....white/red/blue....orange/winter run blue/orange
I do have some of today's fishing on video, but not all. Wife forgot to pack the extra batteries for the GoPro.
SWEET LAWD IT WAS NICE TO GET BACK OUT THERE!!fish

All fish were released

Sorry brother, but the boat was full. Wife and my new fishing partner took a lot of room. This was Homer's first time on the boat and he was well behaved.

Texboxer that was us who you were kind enough to help find some brush this morning. After a disappointing day on Leon yesterday my daughter and I had a blast catching crappie. I truly appreciate you taking time out of your day to get us pointed in the right direction. We side imaged that area and marked many spots for future trips. We kept 15 to eat. Many thanks. See you out there again soon.

So glad you and your daughter had a good fishing trip, and you are more than welcome.
I wish we could have stayed and shared some fishing lieee, I mean fishing stories, but we really had to run.
Hopefully we can get together someday and see if we can't put a dent in the Crappie population. cheers
