If you are dumping your fish guts over at Mustang.. They are supposed to be taken 1000 ft from the shoreline and dumped. The warden was out there and was asking me if I knew who was doing it.

I told the GW all the crappie guts and skins around there were probably yours Natural and that you would be easy to find after dark on the lake! LOL!

Please keep telling people there are no fish in BB. It cuts down on the boat traffic for me and the wife. I saw bass boats on BB this Sat. and all the were doing as far as I could tell was making waves. Never saw one person pull a fish.

PS clean your fish at home, not at the ramp. Please!

Me and another angler had a conversation with a warden on Saturday and told us it is not against the law to dump your fish innards and carcasses on the ramp or shoreline he/she also added that because the warden hates that he/she would ticket you but it would get dismissed if you challenged it in court since it is not littering.

I then asked he/she well I can clean my fish on the boat and dump the carcasses in the lake a reasonable distance from the shore and I will be within the law as long as I or no one in the boat not fish anymore, right? He/she replied well yes, you got me there, as long as you or anyone on the boat do not fish anymore you are fine.

The question would then be species i.d. and the matching pairs of fillets not exceed the limits of what we said we have caught she said it is not hard to distinguish most fillets.

So, the real reason they don't want you dumping fish on the shore is because it stinks and now that lakes only have a few ramps it makes things worse. Is it against the law... No it is not, they prefer you clean them at a cleaning station or at end of destination as she put it..

We could both tell she did not like fish carcasses on the banks but she never said it was illigal, I was however, a bit perplexd he/she would ticket the individual just becasue he/she could.

In the end he/she was more interested in asking about how much we liked the Tundra we were driving and that he/she really wanted one.

I think that if you must clean fish at the ramp dump them in the water or dumpster nearby.
