Which baits will you use most of the time in October and November? I'm thinking I'll use a topwater early in the day, spinnerbaits and jigs after I lay down the topwater.

Deep Crankbaits early in 10-15 ft of water, carolina rig later in the day. Caught my best 5 doing this on a November day. We fished this way with texas rig mixed in and it was the best October and November of my life.

Catches the biggun's For numbers These would probably be the only two baits I'd throw.

The Wing Ding tail spinner is hard to beat for numbers in the fall.

Stew, when I read your reply, I thought you were joking around, but I googled Wing Ding Tail Spinner, and there it was. LOL I have some of those by a different name and have caught fish on them when they were schooling on top. Would cast over then and reel it back through them fast. Thanks for the reply.

Fall is my favorite time to fish. It's about to start getting good.
My favorites are a chatterbait, jerkbait, lipless crank or squarebill. I like to cover alot of water. I only throw a worm if I absolutely have to in the fall. I will also start with a topwater early and if the bite doesn't stop I don't switch. It just depends on the day. Keep an eye out for schoolers. Great way to catch them in the fall on topwater.

99% of my Fishing is @ Night, Fall and Winter are Absolutely Phenominal Times to Fish. This is when Cranks and Swimbaits rule after Dark. Springtime I would rate as above average and Summertime as Good. Also a Big Congratulations to Fish 'till I drop for being promoted to Extreme Angler (1000 posts).
