Any word on Lake Whitney since it has cooled down?

We were catching good numbers of sand bass and a few stripers in August.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

From what I understand there are lots of smaller fish being caught with a few keepers mixed in. If you really want to get on them you should book a trip with high tech redneck guide service

Here I go, I understand people that don't have a boat, or live a long way off hiring a guide. To me fishing is like hunting, part of the sport is finding the fish, fishing and catching if you are lucky. Catching fish is not the only reason to go fishing. If you want fish to eat, buy it, it is cheaper that way. I figured it up one time and a limit of nice stripers on Texoma cost me about $80 a lb. That was in 1984 and I am still fishing. Caught 12 nice crappie yesterday and was about $45/lb. because I was close to the lake. soap fish
