I have had the pleasure of fishing with both Carey and Chris...Wow! Saying a prayer for those poor stripers, they can run but there ain't gonna be no where to hide from these guys.

Thanks for the props. No time to make a fun post but I'll hurry one in. Most the other guides have already said what need to be said. Just start walking or popping and don't set the hook till you feel the weight of the fish.I have taken out a bunch of trips in the last two weeks. Every one of them was a blast. Even had a pouring rain top water - explosion that lasted till 1130 am -during a trip,'I will never forget that one. Craziest one was these guys below. I had 4 kids and two adults.

I would cast 4 times every 30-45 seconds.
Take fish off the hooks from 6 people
Control the boat in 15 mph winds
Untangle knots
I would say " don't do that again" a lot.

All in all, I have had fun on every trip so far. The kids were my all time trip ever! Nothing bad happened. We were on fish at every spot. At one point through the trip, the kids made sandwiches while fish are blowing up all around us. They ate, stood up and ordered me to start casting their lines out again. I'm using H2O's topwater walk the dog style. $3.99 last I saw. Coho bite picks up here and there after they vanish.

This topwater stuff is insane and addictive.



As you can see: I make my own foam Striper Poppers. They have a layer of epoxy making them shinny soft but realistic. Already catching them on the popper.




Above day: topwater till 930 then we found a few more scattered on some flats. Triple hook ups most of the time.

Snow-Flake will be ready for me by next week. Humminbird and Ipilot and new gear and of course ME!
