Thinking about a trip to Texoma for Wednesday 9/17/14.
Any suggestions as to where to put in? High Port?

I haven't been out much lately, but that's a hard area to beat in general. I know you like to troll so I would recommend getting on this ridge I've highlighted in this clip from the Navionics web app. You can zoom in on it on http://www.navionics.com/en/webapp-limited and see some detail. The islands have a lot of lure eating wood around them, but I see a lot of boats trolling there and I've done well with slabs (chunking and burning, not vertical fishing) there in the 15-25 fow areas. Generally good eaters, with a kicker in the mix from time to time. So that's a starting point anyway. They move a lot and quickly with these water temps, so we generally have to go hunting when we get there.

Did you end up going?

I was all packed up and ready to hit the road, but I had something come up. Still might end up there Friday. We'll see.
