We are visiting South Padre Island in October and I am looking for a guided trip (for father in law and myself). Anyone know any guides down there they can recommend? Not sure if I want to inshore (bay) or offshore. It depends on how far offshore most boats go down there. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Capt Andy Mariscos is pretty good for reds and tarpon. Another is Capt Ernest Cisneros for inshore reds and trout

Thanks Tobin! I watched that shallow reds video the other day! Very good stuff! I now know why I fish spots that hold fish. And Have good ideas of were other spots will be holding fish on wind changes in a slack tide.
