Had the pleasure of meeting and taking Clark Reehm's Elite Angler Class Yesterday August 27, 2014. It was well worth the money and I learned more in one day with Clarh than I have learned, reading, watching video's, going out with other guides, etc. in the last 10 years of pursuing the little green fish as a tournament angler.

My father and I took the class together and spent from 8am-7pm with Clark, learning everything from tackle and tackle organization, how to get the most use of your electronics with proper set up, mapping, legend and way point techniques to breaking down the way a Bassmaster Classic qualifier utilizes side imaging. After the "off the water" class we headed out to Rayburn and were challenged to apply the techniques we had just learned. So here is the kicker....WE ACTUALLY WENT OUT, SAW FISH ON THE GRAPH, STOPPPED AND THEN CAUGHT THE FISH WE WERE LOOKING AT. AWESOME!!!!! For novices like me this was huge.
Interpretation of electronics is the key deal and Clark teaches and fosters the learning and interpretation of these units as well as how to prepare and break down water, better than anyone ever has for us. If you want to get better and get better now, fork out the $450 and book a day with Clark. Money well spent.

I spoke to Clark over the phone and was impressed with everything he told me. Unfortunately, I won't have the opportunity to take his class due to unforeseen scheduling issues. But he sounds like the real deal.

My boys (14 & 16) and me took the class a couple of months ago. Outstanding info for any level of fisherman. We are novices learning all we can for the high school events. We took what we learned and applied it the next day by scanning new places, knowing what we were seeing and catching fish at a new found spot. We plan on taking it again to pick up more of the info. Clark's a good guy and would highly recommend it.

I've been wanting to do this for a while, I have heard nothing but greatness about the class. I may try to do it in the next couple months or so.

Looks like he's a Arkansas guy. Is there a list with his available class dates ?

Talked to him today. All booked up for couple months. He did say he has a chip now for sale has pictures of the lake before it became a reservoir. So when you pull up to a spot you can look at the bottom with a pic. Only for lowerance.

It's a satellite image that is now the lake. You can see houses, pastures, creeks, clearings, roads, etc. It's a pretty cool chip. You use it just like you do your Navionics chip.

It has perks and disadvantages. I run it alongside a Navionics chip. So far no one has Rayburn graphed completely. Interested to see what Garmin is fixing to release.
