It was another great day on Lake Texoma. My long time friend Bryan Lammers brought out some of his lifetime friends from when he was in junior high. They came all the way from California and wanted to try their luck at Striper fishing on Lake Texoma. We never really got into big numbers of fish but we certainly found the big fish today. We had to do a lot of traveling but the big fish were hungry when we found them. Only boated about 20 fish today but the average size was about 10 lbs. Kept the big ones we couldn't revive and only managed one under 20 inch fish today. I don't like to keep fish over 10 lbs but we had a couple that were gonna be turtle food so we kept them and let the rest go. We traveled quite a bit today and only saw about 15 boats all day. The kids are back at school and the big fish are biting. Call your favorite guide and get out here. The fall fishing should be awesome.

Only 15 boats all day...only 20 fish around 10 lbs sounds like a bad problem to have John.Glad you found the big fish.

Those are some monster stripers. I think you are doing better in the heat than you did in the spring.
