had a chat on the way early ....the crappie are settin back up
the bite seems to be picking up everywhere ....
some of the corp piles seem to be gearing up for the traditional fall patterns
this is what happens when you get tff folks together
then we chatted about Colorado trout and a rather large albino crapicat ketched recently there
then we chatted a bit more about an ice chest of crappie from Saturday ...the natural and slabhappy kept
well the chatter didn't stop and we talked fancy shotguns .....then about my ole beater Remington
and of course the fact I aint all that on wing shootin .....
but to be sure crapicat and the natural are awl that ....
anyway I gave up a bag of fresh paint to crapicat ...
then some of my special golden heads as well

wel I do know mister natural owes me a cheeseburger as well ...
but nevermind all that ....
it was the time
and the place
and by 8 25 am we were ready to clean our 3 limits
of little grey birds that is
KABOOOOOM KABOOOOM and some more KABOOOM

this is a one time one day a year spot ....
we hit it last year and it was ridiculous good
we hit yesterday with the same results
and let me tell ya this ....
with the wind howling from the south and the birds coming to feed from the south
GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY where they hittin the afterburners when they came in
stupid fast in your face barrel rolling shotgun blazing feathers flying good time
we sure did hoot it up ....
lots a fun ....time to get back on the crappie I spose
till next year anyway ....

Take that dove and chop it up real fine or grind it up like burger.

Put it in some spaghetti. Mighty fine eating.

got 3 or 4 places that are loaded and folks inviting me ...
plus my one man deer lease is ALWAYS so full of birds its ridiculous
literally several hundred assorted doves stay there on the ag ponds and agriculture year round
that there recipe does sound kinda tasty brother

maybe when I git over that way I will bring you something to eat
I normally only give up the road kill ....
but I could make an exception in your case ...........
