Spent the holiday weekend on Lake Murval. If you want to see some crazy stuff just sit at the boat ramp and watch what people do. The worst I saw was a pontoon boat full of people pull up to the dock to take on fuel and this lady on the boat just fires up a cigarette. Pulling a tuber through a no wake zone. No fish stories here so I'll give it a rest.

Dub and I hit up CC on Sunday. Fishing was tough although boat traffic was light early. We decided to make a run up North. We caught some fish up there but the reward wasn't worth the risk. 20 mph South winds made it tough to get back to the ramp. With the boat traffic added in, it was rediculous. Wake Boats nowadays are insane. When you can add water to the back end of the boat to give a bigger wake, that's a disaster waiting to happen. I took it easy all the way to Clear Creek. When we we're somewhat protected I hammered down to the ramp. Out of nowhere I hit a series of 6' sweels. Thank God I had two hands on the wheel and Dub was hanging on. We went airborne in my eyes was a 10 landing! LOL

Watching "WEEKEND WARRIORS" at the boat ramp in Walleye Park on Lake Cypress Springs used to be a highlight of a Sunday afternoon The Lake Patrol should be able to write "DUMB" tickets

Ever Notice that boat ramps have more stupid people than parking spaces.
