Which pier is the best to fish in Galveston?

Since there are actually only 2 piers left on the Island, they have to both be the best, otherwise one would be out of business, wouldn't it?

Are ther any on bolivar or surfside. There is a pier in cold pass, but i thing it is private.

Some folks swear by the 61st street pier, other's by the 91st street pier.

I caught this one on 61st pier early Monday morning along with a lot of nice size croakers that I gave to people fishing.

I don't know didnt measure it or weigh it just gave it to a lady that let me use a shad for bait. I was just fishing for a couple of hours before my tuna trip. We catch alot of these this size off of the jetti that is to the right at pleasure peir in Galveston.

Well looks like I might be going to 61st once i get off work.

I am heading back down there on 9/16 should get there about 1am going to fish the pier again before another tuna trip.
