Next to my paddle and PFD this little Rubbermaid bottle is probably the most important piece of kayak equipment I take with me in my kayak. Most kayak fishing trips start early in the morning after a couple cups of coffee. A lot of places I fish are not always conducive to being able to pull up to the bank an take a pitstop. I learned from an old-timer long ago when my sons were in Scouts and we camped every month, to alway keep a bottle in my tent so I didn't have to get out of the tent during the night to relieve myself. The same little bottle works just as well in my yak, doesn't take up much room and makes those hours spent in my yak a lot easier to endure without having to stop fishing to make it to a place to take care of business.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just hang it over the side? I've never known anyone to collect it in a bottle. Maybe in the winter time to keep you warm, lol

My first task is to drink up a full water bottle within the first hour. From then on that bottle becomes my [censored] bottle. Funny, I was reviewing the all the rough video footage from my camera, and I forget to turn it off during those "events".

I bring a bottle. I don't get up and down all that easy so moving around to go over the side is not that easy. Bottle works pretty good. Generally keep it in the car for that gotta go but can't find a private place to pull over time.

I pull a scupper plug and "rainbow" it then splash some in to flush. The wife has her on special way of getting it done also!! No collection agency here.

I carry a empty Gatorade bottle in my crate for just such an occasion.

A OJ bottle from Whataburger is the perfect size for me. I don't like just hanging it over the side because a lot of time the lake water is just to cold bolt
