When: Saturday September 13th
Time: If you have a truck/ yaks/ gear to unload need to be there no later than about 8am, we have to have the trucks parked before 9am
Where: Meadowmere Park, Lake Grapevine
What you need: We need all the tandem kayaks we can round up, single STABLE yaks are also welcome and needed.

It's a VERY rewarding day helping folks with physical disabilities enjoy outdoor sports & opportunities that they may not normally have without our help. A lot of the activities that we take for granted are basically off limits to these folks without organizations such as RISE Adventures & volunteers such as TKF & TFF forum members.

How many volunteers u looking for?

With the exception of the year it poured on us we've yet to ever have too many volunteers. We'll take whatever help we can get.

DANG we cannot adjust the schedule.
We will not be able to make this one as we will be in The Swampland that weekend.
Hope y'all have wonderful weather and a great turnout.
J try and keep that yak flipper under control this time.

This is hands down my favorite event to support because simply put, it's a life changer, not only for the disabled and their families but for the volunteers as well. Both Luisa and I will definitely be there.

I'm also happy to announce that Mountain Sports will be supporting the event by providing kayaks (including a tandem) and refreshments for the volunteers. And speaking of tandems, they are in hot demand during these events because they are crucial for the participants who cannot paddle on their own. If you have a tandem kayak or hybrid, please let us use it. If you cannot personally make the event, PM me and we will ensure it's picked up, used at the event and returned to you.

Dang can't believe I missed this post! Sorry but I'm having to work a marching band competiton and won't be able to make it. Let me know if you need an extra kayak and I get it to Josh so he can bring it out.

Well I'm going to be sketchy on attending this event. I just got out of the hospital and had another stint put in the ticker. Not saying no for sure,but not 100% at this point.
