ONE BITE, ONE FISH - EACH.

At the last minute yesterday (Sat � Aug 30) I decide I�m gonna hit up a Lake in North Texas I haven�t been to in a while. I initially thought I�d be by myself, since Deric was on Call. At the last minute he texts and says he can make it. Great news and we meet at 5:00 Am for a few hours. I can't stay all day because family is coming into town. I'm itching to fish and try out a new camera. The fishing was pretty slow but we each got a bite that made it count. But Deric being, his stellar self kept the streak alive and pulled in another 24.5 in 8.25lb bass on a buzz bait. Later in the day I pick up a feisty 21in fish. It gets hot and we head off for some lunch and home. It was another great day!

The new camera is a hit. I'm very pleased with the quality of the video and pictures it captured.

Greatness as always Mike and Deric! You guys should have a show titled "The Lunker Brothers" or some such. I honestly find your videos more interesting and enthralling than anything else out there.

Although this trip started really early and ended early it turned out to be another great trip with new information learned about this great little lake.
This big girl hit my Buzz Bait within 15 feet of the yak in almost total darkness.
The take was like that of a small fish, until she realized something was wrong then the rodeo was on.
She was out of the water as much as she was in the water and soaked me really good. I'm sure I sounded like a school girl giving play by play to Mike as he was close by, all I could see was a big head and lots of water
going everywhere, what a fun fish in the dark.

What camera are you using if you don't mind me asking. The tracking and focusing was quick. I like it.

Sony A6000 with the 55-210 zoom. The Kit lens (18-55) is pure [censored]. But the zoom and the 35mm f1.8 are fantastic especially for the price.

As Always, Great Video and Great Pictures. Thanks again for doing such a great job documenting your fishing trips. Just watching this video and seeing the pictures almost makes me want to load my yaks up and go fishing but I have spent the last three days kayak fishing logging in about 16 hours in my Cuda 12, thank goodness for a comfortable kayak seat, so I am taking a "time out" tomorrow to let my old bones recover. I have told you before I would not have ever started yak fishing if it had not been for your O.H. Ivie Videos. Looking forward to your next fishing trip!
