Seriously they'll hit a rubber dog turd. Make sure you have a lot of line and plenty of time.

If you're in the bay, you'll see the schools tearing the water up as they chase baitfish. Look for what looks like a rouge wave whitecapping the water.

Like Pat Goff says, be ready for a fight. A 15lb Crevalle is a fierce fighter.

State record is 50lbs...but getting into schools of 20lbr's isn't uncommon. You'll think you have a 60lb'r on your line. Unreal fighters. I caught one that was just under 25lbs, and I gotta tell you was a tremendous battle, LOL. Took F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to get him to the boat. Unhooked, and off to live another day....

I am not asking yall to give away any "secret" spots, but could yall give me a general area. Remember I do not have a boat.

Thanks

They roam around in schools. Generally passes from gulf to bay are best but I've seen them miles from a pass in a foot of water in a back lake. And very un predictable

After you catch a couple that will get it out of your system.

Mullet works great. I'm gonna be looking for them this month. They are some of the best fighting fish you will find. I fish them with light tackle. Going to Work on the IGFA record this winter.

Well, if you're chasing the school, depth doesn't matter.

Otherwise, you'll adjust your fishing rigging according to depth, water color, wind speed.....etc....just like any other species you target.
