I've started a new Party boat for big blues on Lake Lavon. 150.00 for up to three people, then 50.00 for each seat after that. I can take 6 fisherman in comfort on my 22ft pontoon. You clean your own fish, I furnish all tackle, bait and Ice. You bring your drinks an snacks, and something to take fish home if you choose to do so. We will target Trophy Blue catfish. I can't guarantee a trophy, But I will guarantee a good time. The bigger blue's are becoming more common. They are starting to bite fairly well and will only get better as we head into fall an winter. If you have a larger party let us know, I work in tandem with Capt. Larry, so large groups are welcome. Capt Larry and I found fantastic baits today, even got a 20 plus lb buffalo. We found the big baits for big blues, outta be a great weekend to fish.I still have 2 seats open Saturday and 3 Monday, my guys for sunday never commited so its open for you and your friends to go fish for the big one. have a great weekend, and, take a kid fishing.

I have 3 open seats for Monday and an open boat for sunday. We had 2 new pb's on the boat today, Sam an Cheuy. The cats were finicky today. A good day with great guys. They did take home some nice eaters, but sadly no monsters. Call to book, the big ones are still there.

Didn't get to fish today, customers forgot to get a license. They were kind enough to call very early and let me know they were not going to make it. Im happy to have customers that are that nice. Just an FYI for customers who "forgot to get a license" Walmart is open 24 hours a day and are everywhere!! Also you can get a license online and print a receipt. License will be mailed to ya BUT with that receipt, you are legal and good to go.

My wallyworld's printer was broken as of yesterday. Just get it online and be done with it.

Wind was blowin fish were biting. 2 new pb's, that's 4 for the week. Don got a 28.2 big boy blue. We had Dave fight a monster till he was exhausted, I took over to help, 200yrds of line later he broke off. We had a triple on at that time, 2 broke off

Went out with Tim ( the dad) Cody, Shea, ( sons )and Todd, no monsters but some nice eaters. Had 2 new PB's and a heck of a lot of fun. Todd has fished with Larry and I before, and caught a few nice blues today. Tim has 2 very nice Sons, these are gentleman, and that's rare in this day and age. We had a great day! perfect weather, good wind and LOTS of blues. Don and Victoria drove up from Magnolia ( Houston ) 4hrs! They said it was a WONDERFUL day on the water and had a blast fishing. Both got new PB'S and they are really a nice couple. I have open days and weekends comming up. I have a guy that wants to fish on Tuesday if I can get some seats filled. We went out on Dustin's Pontoon Sunday morning. We couldn't have asked for better weather..cloudy and sun only the last hour. We fished 7-1 and caught 28 eating size cats in the 5-7 pound range. I missed 3 big ones that I'm sure of..those rods doubled over. Dustin is a great guide and will teach you what you don't know. He's as excited about you catching fish as he would be if he was catching them. He loves what he does. We had a blast and will be booking in the future along with sharing our experience of his guide service with our friends and family. I can't wait for winter...

Went on a shad trip with Larry and one other guy. We caught a ton of hookers and a few jumbo shad, everyone got a bucket full. Larry and I decided to fish a while, we caught Larry some nice dinner size blues, and I hooked moby dick. I thought I had a new record, but as all fish stories go, he spit out the hooks. We were using a 14in shad with several hooks, he spit the hooks and kept the shad, I was sick. Oh well I will try again in morning. We didn't get any trophy's this weekend. We did get some nice eating size blue's. The fish were there, just slow to bite. We chased them with a vengeance though!! We nearly had Lavon shut down. The COE was going to close all ramps as of Monday. They decided to leave Little Ridge and Collins open on a day to day. They are watching water levels to see what happens. If they do close them , there will be no ramp till the lake drops to 15ft low. Then an old 50's to 60's erra ramp will be opened. If you would like to chase a big blue, better get out there as soon as you can. We offer 1/2 day trips for 50.00 a person. 3 to book at 150.00 then 50.00 a seat for extra seats. Single fishermen please call as we usually have extra seats.
