Lake Fork Nights Tonight



Its time once again for our Lake Fork Nights Team Tournaments. This year they will be run on Friday nights instead of Saturdays due to my work schedule.

$100 Team Entry Includes BB Paying Back 85% @ 1 in 5
No Membersip Required
Trailering events after registration and livewell check.
Leave the ramp of choice at 7:00PM
All fishing ceases at 1:00AM.
You must have your chip in the bucket at the Minnow Bucket pavilion on the water by 1:30AM to be checked in. Line to scales will close at 1:45AM.
5 Fish Limit with only one over per team. Bass cannot touch 16" and must touch 24" to be legal.
With this being an open event Lake Fork guides can fish but no guide double ups. Only one guide per team.

August 8th
August 22nd

No Membership, Points or Championship just 5 nights of great Lake Fork fishing.

How many boats are you drawing?

You need to post this in the tournament section, might have better results.

I expect 10-15. We pulled better numbers on Saturdays but I have to work every Saturday night. This will catch on, just takes a while.

I would have never guessed there was a tournament last night. The ramp I used had one other truck/trailer parked and they came in while I was heading away from the ramp at 8:45pm. I saw one boat run from the dam up big caney around 10:30, and then one boat running the boat lane around midnight.

I had an entire main lake creek to myself from 9 to 1:15 when I headed back the to the ramp. first bite was a fat catfish on a spinnerbait, he must have slimed good, that was the only fish that bit it. Buzzbait produced 5 nice slots when the light winds put a ripple on the water, chatterbait produced 2 small keepers, and the largest slot on the night 21.5 incher, and then one smaller keeper fish on a 10 inch worm.

You don't have to have a permit to transport fish from one ramp to another. You simply must have proof that you're entered in a tournament and that you're headed to that weigh in. I'm sure a receipt at the time of entry would be sufficient.
