Does anyone know where I can buy a thick wire umbrella rig. Preferably built for stripers.

Someone like MOE's Tackle may take a custom order if their is enough demand for it He has adds here on the forum...
I saw and guy who made himself a possible option to what your asking about. He said hooking two decent size fish always wrecks the thing and bend the wires no to mention one usually gets off anyway ..He bought the 5 leg Spider rig and only put hookless curly tails on the outer legs , then on the center he crimped a 135 lb. coated heavy wire cable like they use in saltwater for redfish or shark rigs ..He made it long enough so the bait on it was set back further that the outer legs and put a hooked jig on it..When I saw it he could fight a nice size hybrid without damaging the rest of the wires because the center cable/wire was flexible and with no hooks on outer legs he only hooked one at a time and only on the center jig.He also had some with willow leaf blades on the outer legs and large spoon on the center leg he said it was just about indestructible and you didn't have to stop when fish were on top and work on it. Hope this helps ...

I've seen them at some of the Walmarts. Just hit one close to a lake with hybrids or Stripers.

You will see 3 wire sizes on the market for Casting Umbrella Rigs. These are not the same as a Trolling Rig. You have 0.041 and 0.051 gauge stainless wire. I use and have both. I'm waiting on a supplier to finish up 500 rigs with blades. I will then start making in Terrell TX. Make sure you are getting a good swivel and stainless steel. Some on the market are made from piano wire and will rust. As I always say, tryM all! There are plenty of good suppliers on this forum. I'm not a casting umbrella fan, too many hooks bouncing around with two-three fish flopN in the boat! They do catch fish

Look at the Strike King titanium models. They are well constructed!

I have the mold to cast my own umbrella rigs. I can use whatever size wire I want. Its easy. If you want to use umbrella rigs I suggest you make your own. They are cheap and easy to customize.

A few years back this guy from Arkansas (I think) made a post about these umbrella rigs and man they tore him a new one, called him a game hog, butcher, greedy you name it...
I can see the attitude has changed now...
I did a search but was unable to find the thread...

+1 for Captain Macks. Very productive and highly customizable IMHO. There are more options once you start getting into rigs designed for saltwater that also work.
