Fishing with kiddos! I've fished with all ages from 4 to 97 yr. (Jacob & Ms. Smitty) Today I fished with 3 brothers ages Ty (6 yr) Zach (7 yr) and Sam (11 yr)and these 3 kiddos were so excited that little Ty kept telling me "I am so es-si-ted" (excited)  Most guys book trips with their buddies or wives and that's great but if you ever have the chance to "take a kiddo fishing" please do it. The smiles and excitement on their faces are priceless!

Im looking forward to taking my baby girl fishing. Anyone think 5 months is too early? I say she is ready but momma thinks different.

Lol. I took my son to the pond when he was in diapers. Of course he slid in, and I caught him before he went under. I caught hades also when we got home.

i love that lake!!! gotta love seeing the bald eagles while you are tearing up the fish.. it is a great lake for all types of fish... my little boy cried when (likely a big blue) ripped his rod out of his hand... haha.. that would have been a great first fish! he caught nothing that trip... a couple months later he caught about a 3 lb trout from the trinity river stocking... that was his first fish.. i was proud... not bad for a 3 and a half year old.... 3 months later with help from me he landed his first dolphin fish.... the one fish ive been wantign to catch since i was a couple years older than him... glad he shared it with me!
