Well, my truck was still in the shop, so I got a couple of my buds to come take me fishing, LOL. I did pick up my truck when we got back home, so I will be back at it tomorrow. Today I fished with by bud Ronny and brother-in-law Howard. They need to dust off their reels. They reminded me that they had only got to fish once with me since February, LOL. The winds started at about 6mph and wand was 16 mph when we left the lake. They had some dust on their equipment, but their hook set was still in good working condition. We quit at 10:30 am (to go get my truck) with 41 cats in the cooler. I wanted to clean them but I had too much to do, so I sent them with Ronny to give to a Masonic brother of mine that could use the groceries. The fish were still shallow, 4-6 foot water, under corks, using CJ's Shad punch bait.
