Seems it has been better in the evenings from read on here, but how has the mornings been? I am taking a friend out saturday morning that doesn't get to fish much and he can olny go that morning. Has there been any surface schooling? Any birds?

We caught a bunch if fish early mornings on mid lake humps using slabs and small swim baits. Watch your graph up and down both sides of the hump, the fish were hanging on the sides of the humps in 10-15 ft of water.
