What part of the lake is safe to travel and not worry about stumps? I hear the dam is pretty clear but say I wanted to run to the south end.. is the West Bank clear to run and if so when should I start idling when running south?

West Bank is clear. Just don't get too close. There is a shallow flat that comes out near the south end where the creeks come in. From there, there is a channel you can cut to the east bank, past the point and go back in rocky creek, or to the west, the south bank is clear, we use to ski there, and the river channel goes along the northern side through stumps. That is where I have been fishing, on the shallow edge of the river channel. Planning on going out there in the am. I can meet you out there and show you, and explain it better on the map. Pm me and I can either send you my # or send me yours and when to call. I plan to be there about 6.
