I have been really impressed by my Uncle Bucks Pond Prowler (Basspro brand) compared to others I have been in... it's very solid, also very heavy... The higher outboard rating of 5hp vs others of 2-3.5hp also lends to my belief that it's a bit stouter construction which somewhat justifies it being heavier. It also has slightly higher load capacities than a few others I believe. It has had me (just shy 200lb) and my big ol bubba buddy Nate (~360lb) with gear, battery, and TM, and rode pretty the same as when I am solo in it. I am pretty certain if I get a jetski trailer and mod it for the prowler, and add a 3-5hp outboard, I will stop wanting a bigger bass boat for a good while with it. Then again it's hard to justify a really nice SI unit for a $800 pond boat
