The first one I got was from bass pro so obviously it was over priced. I went to batteries plus and it was $86 and weighs 27lbs. Picked up a fast charger too all for under the price of the bass pro battery.

Launched our kayaks at Highpoint Marina Saturday. Caught a few small Stripers and Smallmouths; lost a few as well. Also, caught a large Gaspergou, too! All went for Rat-L-Traps (or a knock-off of a Rat-L-Trap we picked up from Academy). Windy at times and lots of boat traffic; still had some steady action. Need to come back sooner than later as we did lose several decent Stripers that threw the hook! Yesterday's Video.

More fun kayak fishing on Texoma... little Stripers but did get to do some sight casting as well as wade fishing for Stripers boiling on the surface. Fun stuff!

Went to Eisenhower yesterday instead of Highport. Slow action but had a good workout paddling all day. Caught one Smallmouth and a skinny Striper. Fun stuff still!

Put in at Lighthouse Marina on Lake Texoma this afternoon. Had to play it by ear for a little while as the rains passed through... ended the trip with three fish - a Largemouth Bass, a Smallmouth Bass, and a Striped Bass. All were small but going to count as a Texoma Slam(?)...

Took the kayak out and headed to Texoma put in at Lighthouse Marina; steady action... despite missed hook sets and thrown hooks, was able to put eight on the stringer. Largest went 26" in length! Fun stuff! Today's Video.

Made it to Texoma Saturday afternoon; got a round of kayak fishing in, catching six Stripers. Trolled a tandem rig - Bucktail Jig/Fluke and Clouser. Fish went for the Jig over the Clouser. Video Clip. This time put in at Eisenhower State Park.

Thanks FishAll50. Went back again. Put in at Spillway Ramp and... struck out. Luckily, it was a nice day and got a good workout in. Today's Video.

Used the Jon Boat and mounted the outboard on to it, then trolled for a good while. Had a few strikes but no hook ups before finally hooking one small Striped Bass. May have been better to go with the kayak....Today's Video.

Did some kayak fishing on Lake Texoma Saturday. Caught a Striped Bass and a Catfish, Fishing buddy caught two Striped Bass and a White Bass. Also, did get some video of Gar spawning in the shallows as well as fought a Gar that was foul hooked while trolling. Put up a great fight and was able to release it to continue on its romantic quest! Saturday's Video.
