OP Bois d'arc Extreme Angler Joined: May 2014 Posts: 1,517	I used the responses to my question, "what is your favorite crank bait color pattern for Lake Fork?" and tried to come up with a bluish shad pattern. Once I got something painted, a trip to the lake for testing was in order. The results were great. The lure weighs 3/4 oz. and dives 14-16 feet deep. It was cast over a hump that tops out at about 9-10 foot and is surrounded by 14-20 foot of water. I lost count of the numbers and lost two really nice 6+ bass(guessing since I only got a look at them before they pulled off ) I used other similar lures in different color patterns but nothing was even close to this one. Thanks to everyone who responded!

OP Bois d'arc Extreme Angler Joined: May 2014 Posts: 1,517	Based on the responses from folks I put a shad pattern on a lure and started from the one in the previous pics. I've changed it a little and put it on a Fat CB 12 & 20 lure blank. Its produced at least some small bass every time I fish it. Pretty pleased with the results of the survey...may have to do it again on some different lakes.
