I sometimes tend to get caught up in the results, but I have to remind myself it should never be about the results. You can bang your head against a wall at work, in traffic , even in relationships. Fishing, on the other hand, is for fun and even the tough days teach u something and you are better for it. This post makes helps me to remind myself why I get up at 3:30 a.m. and don't get a bite till 11 a.m. lol. you just never know what can happen, and I think that is what is at the heart of it for me, the possibility that something crazy can happen.
That being said, lewisville is horrible LOL

Great story thanks for sharing...some of the best striper fishing days I have had at Texoma are in July and August...never on a school of ones that big...it is a great fishery and I agree if you get a chance to go..that is the best time to fish...
