Any luck on the sandies lately and are they schooling near the island? Curious to know so I can take my parents out there and have some fun.

Went last yesterday evening for about and hour and a half. Not one sandbass! I would find another lake.

Mr. Thunderbolt, where are you going, to Ben Brook or Lewisville, good luck with that. I think fishing is tough everywhere due to the long cold winter. About all I have been able to catch all summer is crappie and catfish. Even took a trip with a guide to Texoma and caught 1 stripper and dozens of cats. The guide was not the problem, it was the lake. Boats all around us catching cats. The EM Guru will be back this next week and he will be posting some help. fish P.S. If you don't have some Old Ugly's you should.
