MBC will be holding our July meeting at:

We will be discussing our results from a two day tournament on Lake O' the Pines. Those teams that placed will be sharing successful techniques and patterns. Further discussion will include a new location for our August nigh tournament and lodging for our two day tournament in October at Lake Palestine.

Our next tournament will be held on Lake Bonham July 26th 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.

We are still taking memberships for the 2014 season. Membership is $ 30 annually and tournament fees are $ 40 per angler.

I did visit a few weeks ago, they are BYOB.

Do u have to come to the meeting to fish as a guest and be a boater just wondering ..

No - however you will need to fill out a release form and your partner will be drawn at the meeting. Most of us hang around and tell fish stories (aka B.S.) with an adult beverage once the short meeting is over so PM me your number if you would like to discuss further.

Are there a good number of boaters available? I came to the first meeting of the year and paid my entry fee for the tournament but never got a boater and did not get to fish and was told to come back to fish another tournament. Been busy but would love to come to the meeting and fish this weekend if it is likely for me to get paired this go around.

Come on out and join us z. The more the merrier! We won't have a count until tonight's meeting, however we will do our best to get you on the water with a boater. All you need is an even number of boaters and non boaters. Hope to see you.

Nice great job fellas !!

Great tournament and lot's of quality fish caught and released healthy. Day was marred by the horses butt Game Warden who went ballistic over 1 dead fish, which was released live but struggling. Started floating and one of the guys retrieved it and took it home to filet.
I have run into many wardens how were very professional and did a superb job. Too bad this duffus wears the uniform. Hopefully, he was just having a bad day and does not have a history of angler abuse.
