How deep did you drop the bamboo?

My health was such this past year that I was only able to add the three porcupine fish attractors to my slip area.

Once I get back on the lake I am going to try to add some brush piles to Joe Pool. I found several places with a small amount of structure and fish where I think a brush pile would help concentrate the fish more.

I haven't decided if I am going to add porcupine fish attractors or use natural products such as bamboo to build the attractors.

i know this pattern has been simply deadly everywhere we have been for the last month thumb
todays fish were very nice ...i actually got my line broke 4 times today eeks
after 2 times on one rod i decided it was bad 8 lb line
then i proceeded to break off twice more on a fresh roll of 6 lb test bang
quite a trip for sure ....
bet the boo pile is loaded flat up to the hilt in the next day or so beyond imagination
i will be back to finish this fishy story later ....

sorry for the delay ....it was long weekend for me
anyway the fish were all in the lower water column that day
most bites were about 3/4 of the way down in the water column
don't know that any of the crappie actually bit hard enough to "feel" the bite
I pitched a 1/32 oz with that MR FRY though and it falls VERY slowly
lots of slack in the line and just watch for a tick thumb
the largest fish were within about a foot of the bottom no matter the depth
7 to 12 fow was the target areas and the fish did not cooperate much til the sun got up
the bite got better as it got hotter and the sun got higher
pretty typical summer pattern
when I left at lunch it was a pig fest in ANY shaded areas ...docks bridges trees etc
everything was released and the numbers of fish were very high
overall size was very notable as well
I should return to that spot this week a few times ....
I will be draggin some TFF folks out and see if we cant load up on some fillets for them thumb
KABOOM

and to think a brim would try to eat a bait this big ....?
SIMPLY AMAZING clap

2 thumbs up on the Zombie Juice MR FRY for sure thumb thumb

some as shallow as 7.5 feet and trimmed the noticeable leaves off the surface
some around 12 foot deep .....
in joe pool I would be setting them much deeper though
and fresh green leaves from willows or bamboo drag crappie in like a magnet .... thumb
