Went out to lavon today because i didn't want to fight the hubbard madness. Found a big school out in the middle of the lake where the old sunken RxR track is. I got 31 keepers and only kept some of the bigger ones to eat. Also caught about 50 yellows. The fish i cleaned were full of 3 inch shad so the bait population is on the mend. Three of the ones i brought home were 14 plus inches. the rest were 13 to 13 1/2 inches. These fish were aggressive. I saw some birds out there in the middle diving so i went and looked and the side scan was showing feeding fish. They were everywhere. =It was a big school I had my side image set to 80 feet and it was solid fish both ways.At one point i couldn't get the lure down fast enough before getting hit. I also got some burning the slab so they were game on. Been a long time since i found a good school that wanted to E A T --LOL--. No one out today except Capt but he was cat fishing and my radio was dead. Awesome day of fishing. I came in at 11 AM because it was getting hot. So it was a good 5 hours of fishing

Jeff ,Collin Ramp is good but only one lane and cost six dollars. I haven't even been over to little ridge yet. Bass boats are pretty easy to put in .

I have a video from several years ago of top water action and there were 15 boats on the school that was about 5 acres.

Saw the post on facebook and like seeing the bunny again in this picture! So glad you got your fishing fix on! It's so good to get out there and catch fish. Work fades away quickly when you're out fishing!

Jeff , Pat They have extended the collin park ramp. They took two concrete slabs ( big picnic table tops made of concrete ) and put them where the big ramp ends. I was talking to one of the guys that is always there and he was telling me that the extended concrete slabs were six inches lower than the big ramp but he sees big boats coming in and out all day with no problem. Our bass boats can be launched and loaded with out even using the extension. Oh and they did this for the center lane only and have the rest of the ramp roped off.
