The Texas Striper Association's 7th tournament of the year will be on Lake Texoma on Saturday July 26th, 2014. The tournament will be hosted at Little Mineral Marina. Registration will begin at 5:30am with Captain's meeting to follow at 6:00am. All Captains and boats must be present at the captains meeting to discuss rules and boat inspections. Guides are also welcome and encouraged to participate.

Tournament Registration fees are $100.00 for TSA members and $135.00 for non-members. There is also a $20.00 big fish pot that everyone can participate in. Complete rules are located on the Texas Striper Association Website at http://www.texasstriperassociation.com.

We will also be having a Youth Angler Competition. This will be for any Youth Anglers 16 and under. Each of the Youth anglers will weigh their single biggest fish.

1st Place - Team Sharc Bait - Total Weight - 37.48 pounds
2nd Place - Team Bustin Loose - Total Weight - 36.13 pounds
3rd Place - Team Half Randino - Total Weight - 12.21 pounds

Team Lonepalm will not be able to fish Texoma. I am still in Refugio Tx., working and can't get back in time. I wish all my TSA friends good luck. And hope to see plenty of Double digit fish caught.
This year has been a disaster for our fishing but we plan on being back in the 2015 trail. Hoping to put some good points on the board.

We have missed Team Lone Palm this year. Can't believe you are going to miss Texoma after that amazing day we had on Texoma last year. Hopefully it will be the same this year, although I understand bait is going to be tough.

Waiting on results. What all happened?

The fishing wasn't as good as it was this time last year and we also didn't catch any double digit fish, but everyone managed to weigh-in five fish. Following are the results:

1st Place - Team Keepin' It Reel - 31.36 pounds
2nd Place - Team Sharc Bait - 25.6 pounds
3rd Place - Team Piggy Perch - 21.83 pounds
Big Fish - Team Keepin' It Reel - 7.7 pounds

The next tournament is going to be at Possum Kingdom on August 23. There will be a guaranteed $1,000 for 1st Place. So come out and join us. Everyone is welcome, TSA Members, non-members and guides.
