LOL--
I have carpet too and its hard to keep clean if you are catching cats--
A power washer or the car wash is what I do-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

I fish out of a 19ft.Blue Wave, but no carpet for me.

dont have carpet in your boat. when I replace my carpet I am thinking on spray in liner. carpet and catfish dont match. If you throw a cast net as much as I do in a boat also.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Get rid of the carpet, I had my pontoon deck done with Line X truck bedliner, only way to go, just hose it down.

Catfish, carpet, and clean should never be used in the same sentence. The 3 are a bad combination that dosnt mix well.

Here's what I used for catching bait before we tore the carpet out and put in new gel coat.

I always hose my carpet down as soon as I get off the boat. In fact, I keep a hose in my front livewell so it's always handy. I also use a stiff bristle broom to scrub down the carpet. It works great, but you have to stay on top of it.

That is the method that I used both days over the weekend on Lewisville. Boat is still looking good.

There are few things as nasty as walking bare foot on wet, hot carpet, laced with shad goo, blue catfish slime, and a hint of punch bait sling off from the days you slum it up for the channels.

Catch and release into the grease!
