Hey Guys,
I have been fishing Scott's Landings the past couple weeks in my kayak. I have had zero luck finding crappie. I have a hummingbird 153 that hasn't been much help, but I just got it so I'm not sure how to use it. Any advice would help. Thanks guys!

Its almost impossible to catch nice fish in coves this time of year. You need to move out deep in main lake...

Be careful if you fish deeper open water on Grapevine in a kayak. Especially on the weekend. Water traffic from recreational boaters is very heavy on the part of the lake near to where you have been fishing.
You might try launching from Murrell Park. If I were going to fish it, I would keep about 35 yards from the shore or stay in 18-20 FOW along the shoreline between there and Twin Coves. Look for structure near severe depth changes. Like where the depth goes from 12' to 20'. I haven't fished Grapevine in while so can't say how the fishing is.
Good luck!

Scotts doesn't have much good size crappie right now, I fish from the slip and only able to catch few dinks.....
