Well, I can't make the bwkc due to my son's birthday being that weekend. I decided to rent a house for the following weekend and get out to catch quite a few kings. Most of you know that August is the perfect time to slay a few large kings and I'm looking for someone to join me for a day or two. I will be fishing the end of the jetty and possibly close rigs depending on the bite.
I usually do very well in August just outside the jetty.
Anyone looking to join, feel free to post or p.m. me. I will also post on tkf in a week or so right after the tournament. Thanks guys.
Also, anyone looking for a house should use vrbo it rocks!

A bunch of us from Austin CCKF will be staying in PA at the Fin and Feather over that weekend. Our plan is fish light house lakes, but you might find some takers for BTB. Maybe not, not many of us has experience or the equipment though. But, if you're in the area, stop by and say high.

Sounds good. I don't mind fishing the bay but prefer the larger fish of btb. I'll definitely look for you guys and if anyone is down to join me, they are welcome. I don't think I will fish the bay at all during my stay but who knows.
I'll be driving a white suburban with green drifter on top. If u see it say hello! I'll keep my eyes open for other yaks

Three of us will be there during the same time. Our plan is to fish at night, (I have a good spot). If the seas are flat will try for trout in the surf at first light then kings a little farther out.

Clovis, I'm game. Waves will b 2-3 at 6 seconds but I can manage that. I'm trying to decide if I bring the hobie pa or my drifter... The hobie is a pain to load

Fishing the ends of the jetty tomorrow and heading out to MP on Saturday. Anyone game for Saturday? Picked up ribbons today and they are worth their weight in gold! I assume the prices have gone up quite a bit recently or am I suffering a little dementia?
