Just a heads up to those of you that fish Ray Hubbard. The launch fee at Chandlers has increased to $15 mon-thurs and $20 fri-sun. The ramp is reduced to one lane.

And maybe provide a brown bag meal of your choice, a few gallons of gas, and a boat wash after loading up? If they can get it I'm sure others are soon to follow the pattern!

Since it's no longer cheaper to fish the lake that is the closest, I might as well venture out and fish some other lakes.

Is Chandler's secure? Is your stuff the same way you left it when you return to your vehicle (other than some jackwagon hitting your trailer)?

$20 seems like pretty cheap insurance to me. Every time there is a theft at a fishing tournament folks scream about security at motels and marinas. Most say they'd be happy to pay a little extra, say $20, to have full-time security to watch their stuff.

Can't have it both ways. Pay and park secure or don't and get your stuff stolen or vandalized.

This. Plus 20.00 is the cheapest part of a fishing trip. Most people spend more than that on drinks and ice!

Unless they have raised the price the annual pass is $300. Well worth it especially if you fish the lake 50+ times a year. I like the fact that its $20.Keeps the amateurs away! And like has been said it is a safe place to launch.

It is High for the lonely fisherman but, for the Ski Boat that is overloaded with people it is only a couple of dollars. all I can say is head east! The biggest problem is people will pay it. If everyone would stick together and use the public ramps it would make them drop the price. The problem is you run the chance of your vehicle being damaged if you us the public ramp. "Sign Of The Times"

"Everyone wants to make more Profit" and put it to the little man.

I guess when the poor fisherman goes to the ramp they can hope that the Ski Boats will pay it forward.

I understand that the Marina's have taken a hit having to add to the ramps and moving the boat docks out. but, Really!
