I can really see that fly as a great late summer multi-species fly. All fish love grass hoppers.

Hu-huh. 8 legs. hu-huh.

A good looking pattern, just a lot of steps to get there. I could lose it faster than I could tie it, lol.

It might be easier to tie the body on a needle, then tie it on the hook afterwards.

HEY! I can tie one of those up in WAY less than 15 minutes!
I know I can catch fish with Gurglers and foam beetles.
