I Live in Addison and want to do an early morning trip on Friday, can not decide between Hubbard or Texoma, Fished Texoma a few months back when we were putting in at hightport and found top water by the Islands at sun up or right before then, and it is only about an hour and 15 min so not that bad, lately I have heard of some good morning action on Hubbard too and that is only about 35 min. Lewisville is closest but we all know how tough she is right now! I have always wanted to meet some of those Hubbard guys form the Forum, they sound hilarious! Any one else got the itch to skip work Friday lol

I would go to Tawakoni. It is fishing really good now!!

We went to Twak and had a blast last weekend,it is about an hour and half, and I would go there but I would want to stay all day and on saturday! Have to be home friday evening to spend quality time with the lady! Have not been to Texoma in a while and have always wanted to fish Hubbard, but Twak might be an option too! top water is great there lately! I just was hoping to get some texoma topwater maybe. Read a report the other day that said something about good size topwater fish but I am not sure if it was at the islands or not... Hubbard is the closest lake besides Lewisville that seems to have activity and I would not mind learning it a little...

Either way I guess this is a good problem to have lol

Texoma was unreal today, hope Tawakoni will be tomorrow am. I had forgot there was any other lakes in Texas.

As of this last weekend Lavon was improving, but that is from a pretty damn slow baseline! Unless it has just completely turned on this week, I would pass on it compared to Twak/Texoma. Even if the sandies have started schooling baitfish, they are hard to compare to catching tons of striper/hybrids.

After seeing all of the reports from Texoma and Twak, if it were me I would take one of those. But then again I haven't ever fished either of those lakes, so I could be completely wrong...
