Taking my wife out this weekend to pull in some bass. Not real familiar with the bass on this lake. Last time I fished all morning this time last year and all I caught was 1 dink. Any help is appreciated.

Alley creek bridge is a good place to start. Jigs and texas rigs.. keep a topwater tied on they'll school up mid day

What about Carolina rig, I'm more familiar with south end. Never been up north. Would like to explore. I do know the hazards. And know not to run that area. I'm very cautious when it comes to boating I may ease my way own up there. When should get out of a run? Alley creek?

Once you hit the boat lane, the run was clear 2 months ago to the upper end. Lots of pads and grass, good frog and soft plastic fishing up there!

If.your running north from south end. Alley creek is the last major creek go under the bridge and you'll see the underwater bridge. Great summer time fishing
