Yesterday morning, I did alright on the brook. Had about 30 or so total, 11 keepers. Nothing too big, about 10"-12". Fish were about 1' off bottom from 12-22 fow. Caught most on my Rosey Red tye, and a 14" ditch pickle. Caught a few also on a Goldstone/purple tye. Tried to drop a few condos, but my bright idea of putting expanding foam in the pvc tips to keep them upright, made them too buoyant for the amount of concrete I used. Put one in, and it floated. Was putting down 8 of these.

Might drill some holes in the PVC to let the air escape and they might sink better. Good trip nonetheless.

Drilled air holes in the pipe, and they sunk like a rock. Put me down two groups of 4 in two locations on lake X. Hope they hold some fish later in the summer...

X's 2 Can you see them on your DI or SI???? I didn't look. It was last night, about 10pm when I finished. I marked them about 4 times with waypoints (had marker buoys out) to try to get a good locations to check next time. I will check this weekend.

Thanks for the info on the foam. We are collecting pvc and buckets to make some of our own.
Do you place more than one condo in a location? Do you ever come back and add to a location? Also is it ok to mix pvc condos and willow condows? thank you sorry about the 20 questions.

I placed groups of 4 in two different locations. You can put as many as you want. I wouldn't see any harm in mixing or adding to. If you have any extra buckets, brush or pvc, let me know. I will build some and give you the coordinates. I haven't put too many out. Put 9 in one lake, and 8 in another.

I had added four pvc Bill Dance porcupine spheres with 4' sections making them 8' spheres to some wood structure which made a great crappie hole. I do not believe it was the pvc that made it any better just that the amount of structure produced better.
